Volunteering is shown to have positive benefits for your child’s well-being and academic success.

Whether you have one hour to give or ten, or you can volunteer weekly or just once on a weekend, there is a volunteer opportunity for you here at Simis. We appreciate our volunteers and we are excited to help you find the right opportunity!

Start Here: Review the volunteer FAQ to learn about the different types of volunteers and expectations.

Step 1: Complete the Madison Elementary School District Volunteer Application (Raptor system). This is required to volunteer on campus or attend field trips.

Step 2: After completing the application, you may sign up for one of the upcoming volunteer opportunities listed below. Additional opportunities are added throughout the year.

Returning Volunteer? No need to reapply through Raptor. Simply email volunteers@madisoned.org and let them know you will be continuing as a volunteer this year.

On the day of, enter through the front office with your ID handy. Scan your ID at the kiosk and sign in. Once you are signed in, the front office staff will give you your badge and buzz you in. Please note, that if your District Volunteer Application (Raptor) has not been processed by the district you will not be able to sign in as a volunteer at the front office.
