Thank you for your interest in becoming a Home Room Parent Volunteer!
Home Room Parents work closely with the Homeroom Parent Coordinator throughout the year to send communications, plan class parties, etc. The first step is to complete this interest form.
If you are selected, you will be asked to attend a brief training with our HRP Coordinator and meet with your student's teacher to determine how best to support the class through activities, celebrations, etc. Trainings on how to update the Community Boards for classroom communications are being tentatively scheduled for the week of August 29th - exact dates to follow.
Being a Home Room Parent is a huge support to the teachers, but please remember that being HRP does not ensure you will be able to attend each classroom event. Opportunities to attend events will be dispersed throughout all parents in the classroom.
